Captain USA is so mean... Waaaah! *sniff*
....
SO! I was watching the Prince of Egypt today, and it's such a lovely movie. I dredged it up from my collection after coming across that song "The Plagues" on Youtube (Oh, mighty YouTube!). Watch:
I'd forgotten how much I loved it.
Do any of you have movies you loved as a kid that you'd forgotten about until you came across them later? Share!

If you have not seen Dark Star, then you have not seen true 70's sci fi.
We gratefully acknowledge, as signal instances of the Divine favour towards us, that his Providence would not permit us to be called into this severe controversy, until we were grown up to our present strength, had been previously exercised in warlike operation, and possessed of the means of defending ourselves. With hearts fortified with these animating reflections, we most solemnly, before God and the world, declare, that, exerting the utmost energy of those powers, which our beneficent Creator hath graciously bestowed upon us, the arms we have been compelled by our enemies to assume, we will, in defiance of every hazard, with unabating firmness and perseverence, employ for the preservation of our liberties; being with one mind resolved to die freemen rather thanto live slaves.

Kind Hearts and Coronets. Grew up watching that dude kill people.
The Assassin moved quietly from roof to roof until he was well away from the excitement around the Watch House. His movements could be called cat-like, except that he did not stop to spray urine up against things. -- (Terry Pratchett, Night Watch)
