All we know about them is the titles and who stars in each.
"Metal Gear Solid: Rising" is set for the Xbox360 and the PS3, and will star Cyborg Raiden.
"Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker" is set for the PSP and will be another foray into Big Boss's career.
Hopefully, there will be more on these as they develop.

One does wonder how much Rising will manage to cover before it completely overlaps with MGS4. Or maybe overlap is the whole point. What WAS Raiden doing when he wasn't onscreen? Perhaps this game will serve to explain.
As for Peacewalker, I'm pretty psyched. I love that new black outfit Big Boss is wearing. Also: are those different sneaking suits for a single character? Hm. That brings to mind the different costumes from Metal Gear Solid 3. Maybe we'll have something like that?
Finally, it's about bloody time we got Campaign CO-OP.

But the important thing is that the old topics were given a proper funeral, and many of the younger topics were in attendance. Tears were shed, handkerchiefs were soaked, and the priest gave an eloquent eulogy. Also, the child boards were counted among the dearly departed, as they were not fed enough and thus I gave them an assisted suicide to end their suffering.

Wow. Peace Walker is hitting pretty close to Snake Eater's graphics. Now, let's just hope it gets a pretty good length, a la Snake Eater as well. I think the UMD disk capacity is about 4 Gigs (correct me if I'm wrong), and that's about on par with many store bought DVD-R's (about 4.76 Gigs for my current ones), which means a PSP game of the graphical quality and length of Snake Eater shouldn't be un-doable.
