I'm not as opinionated on this subject as I am on many others, but it's an honest question: Given the events of the last eight years, do you think George W. Bush and/or Dick Cheney should be investigated further? Even put on trial?

I believe they should be checked out, but not because I truly believe they did anything specifically wrong. It's more something I think should be done with all presidents, or at least those in wartime. Just in case. And if enough damning evidence is found, then put them on trial. At least to be sure.

Other opinions?

You gotta be fucking kidding me. They kept the bad guys huddled in their caves for the most part and kept us safe. Hell, were it up to me, I'd have Bush serve another term. Not with Cheney as VP though. He can be an advisor, but not VP.

Whoa. Bush fanboy much? Tongue I kid you not.

Do you even have any other one-step-left-of-the-middle friends/relatives/aliens you are acquainted with? Or am I the only one? Is it because I don't shout my liberalism from the rooftops (like certain other people I know)?

Believe it or not, Politics has absolutely no part in friendship for me. It's stupid to pass up an otherwise awesome person as a friend just because the belong to a different party. Myself? I belong to my beliefs and convictions, and there is no party in the world that can match what I believe. I believe in what is best for moving the nation forward. I guess you could call me a Nationalist. I would die for the America the founding fathers created.

I have plenty of democratic friends online. I just don't discuss politics with them. Same as Republicans. I have no friends in the Green Party though.
